Today I bought jellybeans. Then I put those jellybeans in a bowl thinking "This will be my new thing. I will always have jellybeans in a bowl at my house to share." That bowl now sits empty. How do people with candy dishes do it? My bowl of candy lasted roughly 10 minutes.
Maybe I need to find a less appetizing candy. But that would defeat the entire purpose of the candy bowl. Alas, I guess I was never meant to be "that cool guy with the candy".
Yes, that is the problem with the candy bowl. They require great discipline on the part of the candy bowl owner. I, however, have found that Tootsie Rolls will stay in any candy bowl, indefinitely. You might give that a try.
